Sarah M. Newman
The American soprano, Sarah M. Newman, studied voice at the Juilliard School and the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. After graduating, she moved to Munich, Germany where she has made a name for herself both as a soloist and ensemble singer. Her repertoire spans from early music through art song and opera to contemporary music and musical theater.
As a soloist, she has performed works such as Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespro della Beata Vergine, Giacomo Carissimi’s Historie di Jephte, W.A. Mozarts Exsultate Jubilate, J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen, Joseph Haydn’s The Creation, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, G.F. Händel’s The Messiah and Laudate Pueri, among others.
